My Work

My work lives at the intersection of strategy, communication, and design. This collection represents work I’ve created and contributed to throughout my career as both an employee and consultant. While what you see is the finished product, behind each piece is a larger story about the audience, the challenge, and the strategy that brought it to life.

All projects and materials were developed for the organizations and clients they represent and remain the property of their respective owners.

Marketing Strategy + Digital Development

Cookson Hills Publishers

My work with Cookson Hills Publishers focuses on connecting traditional community publishing with an evolving digital landscape. Working across multiple publications, I help develop strategies, products, and campaigns that expand how the organization serves both its readers and its advertisers—across print and digital media.

The work brings together strategy, content, marketing + communications, and operations + systems, including cross-publication campaigns, digital advertising products and sales strategies, social media development, and training for sales teams and publication staff. I also develop and lead product and social media trainings designed to make new tools practical, understandable, and easier for teams to confidently use and sell.

At the center of the work is a consistent question: how can an established local media organization build on what it already does well while creating new ways to connect businesses with the communities it serves?

Strategy + Brand + Content

Marketing on Main Street

Marketing on Main Street was created to make marketing feel useful, understandable, and accessible to small businesses in the communities Cookson Hills Publishers serves. I developed the concept, voice, content, and visual presentation for the recurring series, translating broader marketing ideas into practical guidance grounded in the realities of local business.

Published across Cookson Hills Publishers publications and online, the series extends from print columns to blog content and supporting visuals—bringing strategy, writing, and design together in a format built to inform, encourage, and give business owners something they can actually use.

Strategy, Brand + Organizational Leadership

Carlton Landing Foundation

My work with the Carlton Landing Foundation extends well beyond a single campaign or creative discipline. As Executive Director, I lead across the organization—from shaping strategy and strengthening nonprofit operations to developing programs, building the brand, and creating the communications that connect the work to the people it serves.

The work brings together strategy, brand, content, marketing + communications, nonprofit development, and operations + systems. That has meant building organizational processes and annual plans, developing community programs and partnerships, leading staff and stakeholder engagement, creating a cohesive brand and voice, managing digital platforms, and carrying that strategy through websites, campaigns, events, print, social media, and everyday communications.

The result is an evolving organization where mission, operations, and communication work together—turning ideas into programs, programs into experiences, and those experiences into stronger community connection.

Program Development + Brand

The Pop-Up Shops

The Carlton Landing Foundation Pop-Up Shops are a good example of what happens when all parts of my work come together. I’ve helped shape the program from strategy through execution—developing its structure and systems, learning from vendors and visitors, building partnerships, and continually evolving the experience around what the program and community need.

The work brings together strategy, brand, content, marketing + communications, nonprofit development, and operations + systems. That includes everything from program planning, vendor recruitment and relationships, policies, registration, and workflows to brand identity, messaging, digital content, advertising, signage, and the on-site experience.

The result is a program with an identity distinctly its own, supported by the practical systems needed to make it work—and enough flexibility to continue learning, changing, and growing from season to season.

Brand + Campaigns

Sasquatch Printing

Sasquatch Printing offered an opportunity to have a little fun with a brand built to be memorable. I helped shape how the existing identity could come to life—developing its visual personality and translating it into a cohesive marketing presence across print and digital.

My work brought together strategy, brand, and marketing + communications, including website design, print and digital advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and campaign visuals. The creative leaned into the personality of the Sasquatch brand: approachable, unexpected, and playful while still clearly communicating the services behind it.

Across every application, the goal was to create a brand experience that could get attention, have some fun, and still do the practical work of marketing a commercial printing business.

Brand + Marketing Transformation

Cross

My work at Cross spanned four years of growth, change, and a rapidly shifting marketing landscape. Beginning with a full rebrand in 2019, I helped build and evolve the organization’s marketing presence through 2023—developing the strategy, systems, campaigns, and communications that supported the brand across both everyday operations and periods of significant change.

The work brought together strategy, brand, content, marketing + communications, and operations + systems. Alongside the rebrand, I led campaign development, digital and traditional marketing, CRM development and implementation, audience communications, and the systems needed to support ongoing marketing efforts. That foundation became especially important while navigating COVID-19, when communication strategies, campaigns, and customer touchpoints had to adapt quickly.

The result was more than a new identity. It was a marketing ecosystem designed to connect brand, communication, customer relationships, and the operational systems behind them.
